Another perfect night in 1AM gallery

I love chill with friends at 1am gallery. This time is my last time to check all the fresh work at opening reception night till im leaving for China. Apparently, that night was awesome:)..

Unfortunately, I couldnt meet scien(123 Klan), he is in canada. He is also one of my favorite graffiti artist, all the design he or his crew 123klan did are the best graphic design I ever seen.

This poster sold like 200 $...OMG

Although I missed 123klan, I met this guy HYDRO47, he gave the same owl print to me which he sale for 45 dollar, not bad~ lol.. I wish he could stay in california for a little bit longer, so I will have chance to interview him. 

I also met a bunch of old friends that haven't see for a while. It was great to meet them again and show my recent pieces.

de YOung! trip

This oil painting called "The Blue Veil" by American artist Edmund Charles Tarbell. It is the most impressive piece i have seen in the gallery. Obviously, most of portrait artists back in the day, they were used to paint the right in front or slightly aside to the front of the model. If you are not Leonardo, or you don't have such a emotional model like Mona Lisa, why do you keep the same way paint like everyone else, dream your pieces gonna sell-out one of these day. However, when I saw this painting, my eye unconsciously focused on the vivid purple veil. At the same time, I can almost felt the same breeze came from the exactly same direction as the scene of the lady in the painting. The color he been used really brought this piece pop out, slightly bright yellow on the shoulder of the lady concert with the same color further beautifully. looking through the veil, I felt much colder and upset. Because there is no smile on her face. Just like the smile of Mona Lisa, I personal think this is another successful emotional portrait painting in the history of fine art.

ugly owner beautiful days..

My friends Nick and Tone got permission for paint this wall from the bike shop owner. It suppose to be my third character on the wall and with my friends letters at each side of the bike man. Although I always want to paint letters, it is a great spot and chill with friends at weekends, sounds good.

I kinda nervous when I just start, this gonna be huge, and whole body character that i never practice on wall. Everything did right away on first day.

steps:

1. send the official webiste of rayban to him.
2. check out on ebay, amazon.
3. comparing the prices to china and here online. 
4. check out the rayban macy's.
5. ask nick's friend's cousin to get suitable discount .
6. get discount.
7. bring it back, meet my dad.
